Best Japanese Cars On eBay For Less Than $15,000

Are you in the market for a new vehicle, but don’t want to spend the higher prices of something right off of the dealership? If so, there are plenty of used vehicles you can go for that are inexpensive and still hold plenty of value. In fact, if you purchase used, you are going to save yourself the massive depreciation you’d be hit with if you purchased the vehicle brand new. New. there are all sorts of cars, trucks and SUVs you can purchase, but if you want the very best Japanese cars, all of which are sold on eBay for less than $15,000, this is a list of your top 10. Now, these vehicles listed are not an anomaly. One just didn’t, for whatever reason, go for far less than what it should. These are all vehicles that will continually go for under $15,000, no matter the season (although there can be some variance in the cost, depending on a few features and current mileage).

 2006 MazdaSpeed 6

Mazda originally released this all wheel drive vehicle with a turbocharged engine to compete with some of the other upper Asian based performance vehicles, including some from Infiniti and Lexus. While this never really became the high-end luxury vehicle Mazda might have hoped for, it did help bring down the price while giving you something you can afford, all at the same time.

2007 Mazda Miata

You’ve probably seen this vehicle many times before and thought to yourself just how fun and adorable it looked, without actually knowing the name. This small coupe is an excellent sports car that has flared out wheels and an arch that gives it a rather determined look to it. It is rounded at then front and is rather inexpensive when it comes to a sports car. If you are in the market for one, this is the way to go.

 2003 Lexus IS300

Sure, the vehicle is over a decade old, but luxury is still luxury. It has a truly powerful engine an it does also come with a manual transmission, which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. So, if you are on a bit of a budget, but still want to land a nice luxury and performance vehicle, this is an excellent way to go.

 Saab 9-2X Aero

Alright, the first thing you probably thought when you saw this was “wait, I didn’t think Saab was a Japanese company.” Well, it isn’t, but with a round-a-bout connection, it can be included on this list. Car manufacturers often have direct agreements with different manufacturers to use similar production models when it works out for both companies. It is kind of like how Samsung makes basically all of the internal hardware of the iPhone. The two seem to hate each other, yet they use one another. This is the case with the Saab 9-2X. Here, Saab and Subaru had a direct agreement in order to produce the same drivetrains and interiors with just minor alterations. So, if you have ever driven a Subaru, chances are you are going to feel right at home with this one, no matter the model year. Plus, because Saab basically no longer exists, you can find the cars for much less, and insurance should not be high as you can still use mostly Subaru parts.

 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser

Even though it is two decades old, it really has some impressive off roading capability and is a fun one to drive.

 1989 Nissan Skyline GTR

We’re just getting older and older here. However, this is still a rather incredible car. The vehicle is performance driven all the way and you are going to be rather surprised as to how much you can get out of the V-6 under the hood.

 1990 Toyota Celica All-Trac

This is one of the all time most popular sports vehicles from Toyota. While the company now focuses more on general sedans, this vehicle is a nice sports offering that has a solid engine and a fun hood scoop, so you don’t need to go out and purchase a new hood later on.

 1994 Mazda RX-7

This one looks a bit like the old Corvettes with the flip up lights. It doesn’t have the same kind of power, but it is almost just as fun, and yet at a fraction of the price. Many of these you are going to find on eBay also have turbocharged engines.

2004 Lexus LS430

This luxury sedan might be a decade old, but it still looks brand new and is going to give you many of the same desirable characteristics you come to expect from Lexus.

1971 Datsun 240Z

This is a powerful little roadster that is all sports coupe and is also a classic, so you might be able to save some while registering the plate.
