When Will the Jeep Truck Come Out?

Jeep is currently in the process of reviving its pickup truck lineup. A new truck is expected to come out later this year or in early 2019. It will be a front-wheel-drive vehicle with a six-foot truck bed and 7,000-pound cargo area. The truck will be based on the Wrangler platform that has been popular for more than three decades.

The truck has been undergoing a full redesign and was originally expected to debut in 2017. It will be based on the new Wrangler, which will be revealed in early 2018. The new truck will take styling cues from the Cherokee wagon. Jeep’s next truck is expected to be electric, and the company plans to have electric versions of all its models by 2025.

It is possible to see a V8 Gladiator in Australia. However, it would be difficult to sell in Australia since it is currently only sold in left-hand-drive markets. However, Jeep’s global boss has stated that the company is looking into making a business case for it to come to Australia.

Is Jeep Coming Out with a V8 Gladiator?

Rumors are swirling that the Jeep Gladiator could be getting a V8 engine in the near future. The Gladiator currently has a 3.6-litre petrol V6 and a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6. But it’s possible that Jeep is planning to add a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 from the Wrangler 392 to the Gladiator. That engine would be capable of 350kW and 640Nm. It would launch the Gladiator from zero to 100km in under five seconds.

The Gladiator has a long history. The nameplate was revived in the mid-size pickup truck, but a V8 wasn’t offered until the fourth generation. In early 1963, Willys Motors changed its name to Kaiser Jeep Corporation, and a 5.4-liter AMC V8 engine became available. The 5.4-liter engine made 250 horsepower and 340 pound-force-feet of torque at 2600 rpm. In later years, the standard Tornado engine was replaced by a 232-cu-inline six-cylinder engine from American Motors.

The Gladiator is designed to be safe and reliable. It has a front-mounted radar to detect potential collision hazards. The car can then automatically slow down to avoid a collision. Another notable feature is the windshield, which is made of Corning Gorilla Glass. This tough glass resists harsh weather conditions as well as chemicals and bright light.
