The 2016 Infiniti QX70 5.0 is a luxury midsize SUV. The 2015 model comes with only two model types, featuring a rear wheel drive trim model and an all wheel drive trim model. Both feature almost the same basic specs, although the rear wheel drive version does have slightly better fuel economy. It comes with a 3.7 L/226 V6 engine that is able to put out 325 horsepower and 267 pound feet of torque. It uses a seven-speed automatic transmission, although it does nave a manual mode for drivers looking to take advantage of a sportier version on the SUV.
Previous versions of the 2016 Infiniti QX70 did offer a V8 for those looking for more power, but Infiniti decided to cut this down in order to avoid expensive fuel guzzler taxes issues by the United States on certain vehicles that use more fuel than deemed necessary. Other version of the 2016 Infiniti QX70 that are no longer available include an active rear steering feature as well as continuous damping control. It also has only a small amount of rear storage room for those who want to be able to transport large amounts of material inside of their vehicle. The V6 engine also cuts down on the towing capacity a bit as well.
